The guests of honor for the evening were Michael Morgan, a former Supreme Court Justice and current candidate for governor; Senator Rachel Hunt, who is running for the position of Lieutenant Governor; and Judge Carolyn Thompson, a candidate for the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
